Bahay ni San Jose (House of St. Joseph)

Establish in 1996

God's loving concern for the poor and suffering children inspired the Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph to establish Bahay ni San Jose, an orphanage for the poorest of the poor, orphans, abandon and multi-handicap children, neglected and victims of troubled homes.

The institution survive to the help of countless benefactors and friends, and religious organizations in the span of almost nine years now. To the intervention of God and his mercy the institution continues. On its eight years of operation Bahay ni San Jose opened an school for the depth and mute or hearing impaired, for the client of the institutions and the nearby area

The serve the children which family can not afford them to send to school due to poverty and complicated problems.

Bahay ni San Jose Orphanage is license and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development and has been a member of regional and nationwide network affiliations.

The center envisions to:

1. Provide a place of love and care in time of need.

2. To awaken a self worth in the children and instill interest in self development.

3. To bring positive changes and attitude in the child and his/her family toward strong Christian families.

The direct beneficiaries of the institution are the whole province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines, both catholic and non-catholic and nearby towns who seek our love and services.

The program focus on the character formation and personality development of the orphans. Children receives lessons on the Christian values of love, sharing, courtesy and obedience. Other activities under this program includes hearing the mass, praying the rosary everyday, attending catechism classes, counseling sessions with the religious sisters, psychologist, social worker and houseparent which they act as surrogate mother.

Since we can not do this alone we need the kindness and goodness of your heart. "As Jesus said, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you", yet do not be tired in helping the poor but give until it hurts, until you pain of loving.

At present we have ninety children in our care. Seventy eight children are studying in St. Paul School, public school, special school and the hearing impaired in Bahay ni San Jose School including the kindergarten children.

Children, be they blessed or deprived, can share happiness among themselves, especially if at their tender age they are reared to experience God's love through the generosity of benefactors.

Your love, sharing and hugs to this innocent and suffering children will make the difference. Come and join us as workers as God's vineyard. If God care for the birds and the beast what more of their beloved creatures deprived of parental love?
